Advertising goes green: The wild life biologists and lumbermen of the CGI forestry office Sehsucht, Hamburg have captured the bloom of the summer in a little scrapbook to safe us all from the dark days of autumn rain. To support the coalition of the WWF and German supermarket chain Edeka for the good cause we have built a miniature forest from the blank pages of a book.

Plant polygon seeds in early spring. Use some digital fertilizer to grow the trees when the days are long and sunny. And eventually reap a harvest of some highly detailed renderings in autumn and put them all in book. Et voil√†: The world’s first forest to go.
